{ aubrey + aaron }

May 28, 2008

Meet Aubrey and Aaron. A couple who created a fun filled weekend with family, friends and a little wine. I headed up to Winters, CA. on Friday to cover this wonderful wedding. Day one. While Aubrey and the girls were getting pampered in a SF salon, the guys were playing golf in the pooring rain. Aaron’s dad even got a hole in one on the 8th hole. wow.

The wedding took place on an amazing location called Bear Flag Farm. Ann shot along side of me. Be sure to check her blog for her point of view. Maria Chang did the hair and make up. Even Anton showed up to film for me my promo video. Well, we had the dream team in place and ready for action.

Talk about details, Aubrey and Aaron thought of everything. From a ceremony in the lavender fields to a croquet set for the guest to play during the cocktail hour, two lounge areas one with cigars and brandy and a live band for all of us to dance the night away. When night fell and it was time to leave they were wisked away in a vintage car. It was one stylish, fun and very emotional day.

Here are some of favorite picks. Trust me there are hundreds more that I would have loved to blog. enjoy.

In my attempt to be the serious photographer. Anton caught me goofing off while the cameras were still rolling. I think it definitely shows the other side of me. If you can’t laugh at yourself then who can you laugh at?

Sorry folks this for adult audiences only. Post a comment let me know what you think.

{ ppgba four nights }

The other night I had the pleasure of meeting 24 wonderful photographers. I was asked to take part in a mini workshop here in the city by PPGBA. PPGBA is a wonderful organization that helps wedding photographers by networking, offering workshops and general information to help them be better in business. Four nights is held once a year and organized by Christine Krieg. Four photographers offer their time and talent to share what is working for them in their business. My good friend Justin Fone opened his loft/studio for us to meet in. We had a great night with a exchange of ideas, networking and drinks afterwards at the W Hotel. Here’s a quick grab from Justin’s point and shoot. Special thanks to all my sponsors for sending those giveaways. Good times.

With the new look and feel of my new brand, I wanted a fresh promo video to go along with it. I teamed up with the talented Anton Lorimer of Lorimer Works to create this video. We have two more locations to shoot in, so in the meantime I wanted to give you a taste of what’s to come. This video will live on the video section of this blog. Just click on the “About” tab, above.

enjoy ~

Wait till you see the new out-takes.
